NEXCO East Japan will close the provisional two-lane section (one lane in each direction) of the Akita Expressway (E46) from the Kitakami JCT to the Kitakami-Nishi IC during the night due to installation of wire rope lane dividers.
The program will run from October 3 to 25 from 8 pm to 6 am every night. A backup date has also been set for October 26-November 2. During this period, detours can be made via National Highway 107, Prefectural Highway 37, Prefectural Highway 47, Prefectural Highway 50, and National Highway 4.
