Navitime Japan has launched “EV Car Navi by NAVITIME” (Android/iOS version), a car navigation application exclusively for electric vehicles.
In addition to the basic functions of a car navigation system, this application is equipped with convenient functions to support EV driving, which requires charging time. In addition, the “EV charging station search” can be narrowed down by specifying conditions from approximately 20,000 locations nationwide, and the degree of contribution to CO2 emissions reduction can be visualized. Hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles are not included.
The download is free and all functions are available for free until August 31. After that, navigation, VICS traffic congestion information display, and other functions will be available for a fee.
