KeePer Giken to sell the bicycle industry’s first “KeePer Coating” at 25 Trek-owned stores nationwide.

KeePer Giken, which provides car coating and car wash services, began selling KeePer Coating at all 25 directly managed stores in Japan operated by Trek Japan, a subsidiary of American bicycle manufacturer TREK Bicycle Corporation.

The KeePer Coating service repels mud, grease, and other contaminants from the car body with its strong water repellency, and creates a unique gloss by smoothing out the paint surface by filling in irregularities with a thickness dozens of times greater than that of ordinary glass coating films.

At Trek directly-managed stores, three types of menus are available: “Trek EX Keeper” (20,000 yen), which features deep transparency like a veil, “ECO Plus Diamond Keeper” (10,000 yen), which prevents the adhesion of dirt, and “Diamond Keeper for Bicycle” (5,000 yen), which utilizes car coating know-how. The company offers three types of menus.
