Benelic’s “Moomin” berry-picking-inspired tableware series

Benelic will release the “mustikka (blueberry)” series of tableware at the official “Moomin Shop” and “Moomin Cafe,” the official stores of the Finnish fairy tale “Moomin,” on June 10.

Mustikka” is the French word for blueberries, and the designs and colors incorporate the image of berry picking. The two plate, bowl, and stacking glass designs feature Moomin and his friends from the Moomin Valley, including Little Mii, Snork’s dad, and Stinky, among the blueberries.

Plates are available in two sizes: 19 cm, just the right size for bread and cakes, and 26 cm, which can also serve pasta and one-plate lunches; the 18 cm bowl can also hold soup, salad, and rice menus. The stacking glasses, which minimize storage space, come in a transparent blue base color. Prices are 1815 yen for the 19 cm plate, 3960 yen for the 26 cm plate, 3525 yen for the 18 cm bowl, and 1210 yen for the stacking glasses.

In addition, Moomin Cafe will offer a Blueberry Yogurt Latte and Strawberry Mojito Soda with blueberries and Moomin art.
