Solare Hotels and Resorts will open its first new brand store, Chisan Premium Kyoto Kujo (15-1 Higashi-Kujo Kami-Goryocho, Minami-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture) in the fall of 2022.
The new hotel is a rebranding of an existing hotel and is said to have a “premium structure that offers a higher grade of travel” with more spacious guestrooms.
It is a 10-minute walk from the Hachijo exit of Kyoto Station on the JR, Kintetsu, and municipal subway Karasuma lines, and a 6-minute walk from Exit 1 of Kujo Station on the municipal subway Karasuma line, and is only one city bus ride away from Kiyomizu Temple, Gion, and other locations. The eight-story building has a total of 194 guest rooms, as well as a large public bath and restaurant.
